El langostino del Ebro. Micronar(ración) de dos pares. Inglés (7)

THE PRAWN AND THE GREED

The prawn was in the Ebro River, digging to build a fence when he found an ancient chest buried in the garden. It was plenty of golden coins. He thought: “what a strange thing, I don’t mind wealth, but I’ll dig it up.”

He took the coins out of the chest and shined them. They were oh, so dirty…

While he was piling up the coins, he counted them…a real fortune. Only for spending time, he started to imagine all things he could buy with them. He thought in how crazy could turn into a greedy guy who crossed into such a treasure. Fortunately, that was not his case…

One day, a crayfish went to his house to claim the coins. The reason he cited was his grand-father had buried them, so the treasure belonged him. That situation upset the prawn such a way that he killed the crayfish.

If he hadn’t looked him so dying to have the coins, he had given them to him. He doesn’t mind things that can be bought with money, but he can’t stand greedy people…
